Take the journey from Yalıkavak to Gumusluk and you’ll pass through a number of magnificent bays. If you are passing this road just before sunset, you will also understand why Gumusluk is really a special place. The landscape here is amazing. From Yalikavak to Gumusluk the entire landscape is just stunning.
The downtown Gumusluk is a very cute small village. It consists of many small shops and street sellers and it is also famous with its quality seafood restaurants. The bay itself is adorable as. I think together with Golturkbuku these two bays have the most amazing scenery. They are also an ideal shelter for boats and yachts.
At the northern end of the bay, where the yachts anchor, there is a small beach that is now re labeled as public beach. When you reach the far end of this beach you will see a trekking path. If you follow this path you can also find other hidden small inlets and beaches in the north side.
What I like most about Gumusluk is this hidden and untouched nature of it. Having said that, year by year I feel the place is becoming more and more mainstream. With this progress in mind: the possibility of unnecessary housing and construction near the area scares me more than anything.
To sum up, if you are after a quiet and peaceful holiday you should have a look at small motels around here or anchor your yacht.
