Lech has many qualified pistes together with a good snow park including bumps for every level. The lifts are in very good condition. The village of Lech however is more like an exclusive option when compared with St. Anton. This is not to praise Lech, quite contrary I felt the whole setup is a bit too much for my taste. It has an ambiance where you can see ladies in luxurious furs, shops all around that sell high-end jewellery. Upscale? Yes, but it gives me the sort of feeling as if the style is a bit snobby and the ambiance is rather mid aged. Thus, it is nice to have good champagne in one of the outside bars down the village. This is totally a different kind of Après Ski experience but sometimes it is good to have a hedonist mood if you want to feel like James Bond for a while.
