Xuma Beach is a nice and trendy beach located in one of the beautiful bays of Yalikavak. The place has many amenities; it has a separate restaurant, gym, massage centre and activities like beach volley. It is also an ideal place to just sit, relax and sunbath.
There are plenty of comfortable chairs overlooking the magnificent bay. However you should wake up early to pick them up. I think they are offered as first come first serve basis and there are also few separate boxes. If you are late, there are also cushion pillows you can use. You can put them anywhere in the grass area. In order to avoid this confusion you can make a reservation as well.
I prefer the quiter grass area where I put my sun bed under the olive trees and get protected from the sun.
On many days the beach turns in to a party mood in the afternoons with DJ’s performing. A nice gin tonic or mojito is really cool to have while getting in the mood with the music…
Update for 2013: I’ve tried the Pina Colada and it was really very good. Definitely Recommend.
Overall, the place offers good location with a nice atmosphere where you can party while benefit from the sea and sun. Be aware that the service can sometimes be below average especially when the place is too crowded. For the summer of 09 the entrance fee I paid was 55 TL and this gives you the option to spend it inside.
Update: The pricing system has been changed from what I understand for the 2013. You pay an upfront fee at entrance which is only for entrance. And whatever you spend inside will count as extra.
