Cokertme is a popular stopover for boats exploring Gokova Bay. If you start your journey from Bodrum and head towards Gokova this is one of the first stops you would take. There are few restaurants in the bay and they also provide anchorage options for your boat but I prefer to anchor on the western side of the bay privately.
Note that occasionally a “dag tepmesi” (A strong wind that comes from the hills in the early morning time and last couple of hours) occurs. So my advice is to anchor with this in mind even at the times without any significant wind.
