The Angelsea Arms is a very good local pub overlooking the beautiful street of Selwood Terrace. Location-wise it is also very close to South Kensington and is very popular with locals. When the weather is good I prefer outside space.
White Horse is probably the closest you would get in terms of the ideal social pub experience, especially in summertime. Their outside space overlooking Parsons Green is a gem.
